Gold Dinnar

 

A gold dinar was minted during the reign of King Faisal I Bin Al-Hussein in 1920, corresponding to the year 1338 Ah. This coin is rare; it was minted for a brief period during the establishment of the Arab kingdom (1918-1920). Currency: gold dinar. Date of minting: 1920 (1338 Ah). The first face (face): Center: coat of arms (symbol of the kingdom). Orbit / surrounding writing: "the dinar of the Arab kingdom" and the date"1920." The second face (back): Center/inscription: tughra bearing the name of King Faisal I Bin Hussein (inscription in tughra script). Decoration: a seven-pointed star surrounded by plant veins. Date:" 1338" (at the bottom of the second face).
