Laboratories Unit
The Laboratories Unit was established in the Faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology in 1999 to keep pace with global developments in archaeology, particularly in applying scientific analysis techniques to cultural heritage. Recognizing the threats to Jordan's heritage from natural and human factors, the university equipped the unit with qualified human resources and state-of-the-art technology. The unit specializes in artifact restoration, scientific analysis of archaeological materials, and modern information systems for site protection. Furthermore, it plays a vital role in training students and supporting local and foreign archaeological missions across Jordan.
