Petrographic Thin-sectioning Lab
The petrography lab produce thin-section microscope slides for archaeological material. Slides can be used for reflected light microscopes.
The lab includes;
1.Cutting machine
2.Optical Microscopes (Leica)
3.Stemi 2000-C microscope
4.Bonding Press for the section
5.Vacuum impregnation unit
Cost of analysis
10 - 15 JOD per sample.
